Childhope Foundation Canada is a non-profit, non-political, non-denominational, registered charitable organization that seeks to address the link between abuse and homelessness.
Every month Childhope provides assistance to abused women and children, youth in conflict and displaced families in partnership with other shelters.
In 1995 a new Board of Directors was formed and the foundation was revived with new programs and a new mandate. While maintaining the international spirit and vision, the foundation developed more localized programs.

Members & Volunteers… We know our members play a key role in the development of new ideas and programs. Since the beginning, our members and volunteers have been instrumental in forming the success of our foundation…. We sincerely thank each of our members and volunteers and look forward to welcoming new ones.

What We’ve Done (Do)… |
|
| One of Childhope Foundation Canada’s major activities is the allocation and distribution of medical supplies, hygiene supplies, food and clothing. These items are distributed to shelters for women and children, youth hostels, food banks and soup kitchens. |

Where We’re Going… |
|
In the year 2000 the foundation decided to intensify its youth services. The board of directors has decided to implement Childhope Youth Services [a division of Childhope Foundation Canada] to address the needs of youth in several capacities.
- To organize youth clubs within the inner city and suburban areas. These clubs will consist of programs that are designed by the youth for youth. Each group will be guided by an adult councilor.
- The foundation has deep concerns regarding the level of recidivism acquiring among our youth that get involved with the criminal justice system. Childhope Foundation Canada endorses programs to help combat this concern and is taking steps to see their implementation.
The members, volunteers and board of directors are dedicated to the continued success of the foundation. Together we can make a difference for many years to come. |
