How to become a volunteer...

Without volunteers, most charities would cease to exist. In order for a large percentage of charities to implement their programs, they have to depend on many volunteers. Childhope Foundation Canada's mandate is to bring programs and services to families and youths. This requires a large amount of volunteers; therefore, we are continuously looking for people such as you to reach those who need our help.

There are many ways one can make a voluntary contribution, without interfering with their day to day activities. For example, we have volunteers that have made a commitment to help in any capacity as long as they can work from home. These individuals write letters and make telephone calls acting as representatives for the foundation. In addition, some volunteers commit two hours per month. There is so many ways you can contribute, especially with today's technology, volunteering has become so much easier. Most individuals who volunteer will tell you that being a volunteer gives you a sense of personal satisfaction.

We the officers and members of Childhope Foundation Canada are calling on every member of the community to take a minute and ask them one question. Want can I do to contribute to my community? You may not have the answers but if you have the will, Childhope Foundation Canada is willing to help you look at all the options that are available to you.
